Radhakrishnan Krishnan's winning Verse:

Ajeeb makhlooq hai yaaro jise log insaan kehte hain,
Sarhad ke naam par insaan ne bech diya is jannat ko,
kuch ise dharm to kuch ise khuda ka farmaan kehte hain,
Koi puje murat ko koi sajdo mein apna sar zukate hain,
Ye ek hi hai bas kuch ise pooja to kuch ise apna ibadat kehte hain,
Ek hi riwaaz , ek hi rasm , bas kuch andaaz badal jate hain,
Warna ek hi hai jise kuch upwaas to kuch ramzaan kehte hain,
Ek hi hai sabki manzil bas lafzo ke tarane badal jate hain,
Wo ek hi mukaam hai jise kuch swarg to kuch jannat ka darbaar kehte hain,
Kuch rehten hain Hindustan mein , kuch baste hain Pakistan mein,
Par maqsad to sabka ek hai, jise log khusi ki fariyaad kehte hain,
Wo ek hi hasti , ek hi wajood hai jisne ye saara jahan banaya...
Fark itna ki kuch use "Khuda" to kuch use "Bhagwaan" kehte hain

Urooj Murtaza's wining verse:

Meray pitaa ki roshan aankhain
Dekhtay dekhtay ik khaali sapna
Jaa soyee zameen k andar
Srinagar ki matti choolu..
Ajmer ki dargah jaa karr dekhu
Haaji ali ko 'Bosa' day lu
'Siddhivinayak' k darshan laylu
Unkay vo adhuray sapnay
Bastay hain meri aankho main..
Kash kabhi poora kar paa'on
Kash kabhi sacha kar paa'on
Dil k faqat armaan yehi hay
ik mujh parr ehsaan ye karrdo
Mera khaali daaman bharrdo...

Aarti Mittal's Winning verse:

Hamari zamee eh thi
Hamara asmaa ek tha
Hamari hawaa ek thi
Hamara paani ek tha
Idd ki sewaiyaan ek thi
Jis ghar mein jagmagayaa diwali ka diya
Wo baraamda ek tha
Raakhi pe wo kalaai bhi ek thi
Rakhi ka dhaaga bhi ek tha
Kheton ki baaliyan bhi ek thi
Jahaan khelte thee lukaa chhupi
Wo baramda bhi ek tha
Siyaasat ke khilaadiyon nr ghar ko maidaan bana diya
Aisi dewaar khinchi
Pehle padosi
Phir ek duje ka gunehgaar bata diyaa.

Malik Zafar's Winning verses:

Nafrat ko maar dalo
Mohabbat ky beech say
Ugao pody mohabbat kay
Phal khayn nasleen aadam ki
Nafrat sy jang kro

Pyasi dharti soch rahi h shayed pani km barse.
Khoon ki barish khoob hui h shayed pani km barse.

Rajesh D. Hazare's Winning verse:

SarwaDharmaSambhaw
Main Maanta IMAAN ko
Main jaanta INSAAN ko
Sabse pehla mazhab Wahi
Insaniyat naam sahi
Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Isai
Bauddha-Jain-Parsi bhi
Baant diya Bhagwan ko...
Ek thi meri Dharti Mata
Jisne kabhi na bhed kiya tha
BHARAT-PAK- Iran yahi
Rehte the jaise Bhai-Bhai
Baant diya bas naam ko...
Muslim behna MANDIR aana
Main bhi dekhu MAKKA-MADINA
'ISHWAR' kaho ya kaho 'ALLAH'i
Tu padhna 'RAMAYAN' bhai
Main padhta 'QURAN' ko...
'RAMZAN' me 'RAM' hain aata
'DIWALI' me 'ALI' aata hain
Hindu- Muslim-Sikh-Isai
Sach kahu to sab bhrata (brothers) hain
Nahi baantna INSAAN ko...

This contest was themed on the Jugalbandi form of poetry in Hindi and urdu languages because of two purposes; first, the Jugalbandi is the oldest known poetic form in Hindi urdu poetry ; Second, Hindi Urdu are the common language basis known well to the poets of both India and Pakistan.

All the participating poets displayed an exemplary enthusiasm towards this Jugalbandi contest which was aimed at improving inter-country relations and promoting love, brotherhood, peace and harmony. The verses were deep and inspiring and worth noticing fact was that the participants were so involved in the contest that they skipped tagging the names of their country as well. Hence, the contest winners are the Verses. On an online platform, it is the first contest of its kind and is a great initiative by the poets of India and Pakistan.
